

Gordon Stone
Mayor
Gordon Stone is mayor of the Town of Pike Road, Alabama’s fastest growing municipality, and executive director of the Higher Education Partnership. Stone is known for his energetic leadership of the Partnership, an advocacy organization that works to strengthen the standing of Alabama’s four-year, public universities and communicate the critical role higher education plays in the economic well-being of the state. An alumnus of both Auburn University and Auburn University Montgomery, Stone is a former walk-on and letterman on the Auburn football team and currently serves as president of the Auburn Football Lettermen Club. For many years he has been active in the leadership of the National Young Farmers Educational Association, having grown up on a cattle farm in Wilcox County.
Despite many professional and volunteer duties, Stone lists his family and faith as the two priorities about which he is most passionate. He and his wife, Ellen, have two teenage daughters and are members of Montgomery’s First Baptist Church, for which the couple organize an annual domestic mission trip.

Chris Dunn
Council Member, Mayor Pro Tempore, Planning Commission Chairman
Chris Dunn has been the president of Kyser OfficeWorks since November 1988. Kyser OfficeWorks is one of the largest commercial furniture dealerships in the southeast. He has more than 25 years of experience in the commercial furniture industry. The company has grown under his direction from three employees to 27 employees and is now a $7 million company. Steelcase, the world’s leading commercial furniture manufacture, has awarded Kyser OfficeWorks, Inc. multiple quality leadership awards.

Chris serves as president of the Montgomery Rotary Club, Board of Directors of the Montgomery Rotary Club, Board of Directors of the Montgomery Rotary Foundation, Town of Pike Road Town Council, Town of Pike Road Planning Commission, Mayor Protemp Town of Pike Road, Board of Directors of the East Montgomery Water and Sewage Authority, Boy Scout leader of Pack and Troup 307, First United Methodist Church Administrative Board, First United Methodist Church Cathedral Choir, Steelcase’s National Dealer Council. Chris is also an avid hunter and fisherman.
Chris was born in San Antonio, Texas in 1961, but moved as a young child to Brewton, Alabama, where he graduated from Santa Rosa Christian School in Milton, Florida. He graduated from the University of Alabama in 1984.
Chris is married to Lynne Oliver Dunn, who is a licensed Interior Designer at Kyser OfficeWorks. They have two children, Rachel and Joshua. |

Tommy Brassell
Council Member
Councilman Tommy Brassell was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama, where he attended public schools. He is a Graduate of Auburn University. For the last 14 years, Tommy has been employed by Sherlock, Smith and Adams, Inc. Architect/Engineers. Prior to coming to SSA, Tommy began his career with Blount where he worked for 10 years. He has lived in Pike Road for the last 12 years and served as Vice Chair of the Planning Commission before assuming his present position on the town council.
Tommy and his wife, Denise, a teacher and upper school director at Eastwood Christian School, have two grown children. Tommy and Denise are active members of Frazer United Methodist Church. |

Rob Steindorff
Council Member
Councilman Rob Steindorff was born and raised in Montgomery, and is an Auburn University graduate. He currently serves as president of Southern Handling Systems. Councilman Steindorff and his wife, Marion, have three children and are active members of First Baptist Church of Montgomery. Councilman Steindorff chairs the PRESET Curriculum Committee. |

Leroy Tolliver
Council Member
Councilman Leroy Tolliver was born and raised in Pike Road. He recently retired from Hager Hinge after 25 years, and is an active member of Christian Life Church. He and his wife, Carrie, have one daughter and two grandchildren. |
Betsy Atkins
Council Member
Betsy Atkins, a native of Opp, Alabama, was raised in Montgomery before moving to the Town of Pike Road 12 years ago. Atkins is a 1994 graduate of Auburn University Montgomery and is employed with Abbott Laboratories as a Senior Professional Sales Representative. Over the past 12 years she has represented Abbott throughout Central Alabama. During this time she received numerous sales awards and currently serves as the District Business Analyst for southern Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.
A member of First Baptist Church of Montgomery, has served many areas of the church and currently is a member of the Children's Leadership Council. She is a member of the Junior League of Montgomery and has been a long-time supporter of the March of Dimes. Atkins has contributed many hours serving in various volunteer roles at Forest Avenue Academic Magnet School and Baldwin Arts and Academic Magnet School.
Ms. Atkins is married to Pat Atkins, co-owner of American Klassic Designs, Inc. They have two children, Chipper and Sarah Elizabeth Atkins. |

Charlene Rabren

Charlene Rabren was born and raised in the Pike Road community and has served as town clerk since the town incorporated in 1997. Charlene and her husband, Wayne, who served as Pike Road’s first mayor, are members of Pike Road Baptist Church. Charlene has two children and seven grandchildren. |
