Jack Willis - Pike Road, AL

Jack studied art in the 70's at AUM. His emphasis was in painting. He did not finish the fine arts degree program but, instead, pursued other endeavors. He now wonders if plein air painting had been offered when I was in college, would he had ever made the career change. Now, after a forty-year career, in that other field, he is free to do what he always wished to do... paint.

To be fair, this post was actually worth reading.

At first, I was about to skip it, somehow it held my attention.

Maybe it’s how things are explained that doesn’t feel forced, which is not that common here.

By the way, I checked out https://infowomenspace.com/ not long ago and had that same kind of tone, so maybe it’s just me.

Anyway, appreciate this — I might come back later.

I recently discovered a very useful mouse testing website that can check the condition of your mouse scroll wheel through scrolling tests. If you want to see whether your mouse is damaged, you can try Polling rate test

What a wonderful tribute to Jack Willis; his dedication clearly shaped Pike Road's identity and future. He sounds like a foundational figure, almost like the origin story for a beloved Cartoonperson of the community.
