  • Contractors: General contractors, plumbing/gas, HVAC or electricians should provide the following along with the Business License Application or Renewal:

    • Copy of General Liability Insurance – the Town of Pike Road must be listed as the certificate holder as follows:

    • State Certification Card or General Contractor’s License or Homebuilder’s License

  • Restaurants and Food Trucks should provide a copy of their Health Permit along with the Business License Application or Renewal.

  • Pest Control specialists should provide a copy of their Alabama Dept. of Agricultural Professional Service Permit along with the Business License Application or Renewal.

  • Hair and Nail Salons should provide a copy of their State Board License along with the Business License Application or Renewal.

  • All other businesses, not listed above, must submit only their Business License Application.

  • If you are renewing a Town of Pike Road Business License, you should have received a Renewal Form from the Town of Pike Road. Please submit the Renewal Form you received from the Town of Pike Road your Application. If you did not receive a Renewal Form, please contact Tosha Darnell by emailing tosha@pikeroad.us.

Building and Trade Permit Applications will be reviewed by our Building Director, Lowell Thomas, (lthomas@pikeroad.us), and our Planning Director, Jonathan Smith, (jsmith@pikeroad.us). When the review is complete, you will receive an email notification of your Permit Fee from Tammy Stricklin. The email to pay via credit card* will come from Xpress-Pay. Permit Fees can also be paid by check, mailed to the following address:

Please note that inspections will only be performed when they can be done safely and without detriment to the Building Department staff. Based on the social distancing recommendations of the CDC, the Town of Pike Road will take all necessary precautions and may request that the worksite be clear of other workers at the time of the inspection.
