About the Event
In partnership with the Alabama Forestry Commission, we are excited to host a seedling giveaway in celebration of Alabama Arbor Week! Pike Road residents are invited to stop by Pike Road Founders Station (4902 Pike Road) beginning at 12 p.m. on Feb. 25 and from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. February 26 - 28 to pick up a seedling - or two - and tips to care for it.
Available seedlings include*:
- Red Bud
- Crepe Myrtle
- Red Maple
- Crab Apple
- Green Ash
- Pecan
- White Oak
- Sawtooth Oak
- Cherry Bark Oak
- River Birch
