About the Event

Dress your home for the holidays and support our neighbors in need through the Pike Road Arts Council's 2nd Annual Christmas Tree Silent Auction benefiting the Woodland United Methodist Church Food Pantry. Hand-crafted holiday trees and wreaths are up for silent auction through Nov. 22, and all proceeds go to the volunteer-run Woodland UMC Food Pantry, which serves nearly 100 families each month.

Due to social distancing and health guidelines, the available trees and décor will be shared on the Pike Road Arts Council's Facebook page. To place a bid or make an appointment to visit the Arts Center and view the trees in person, please contact Pike Road Arts Council Coordinator, Patty Payne, by emailing patty@pikeroad.us. Bidding for each tree begins at $25, with a minimum bid increase of $5.

The Pike Road Arts Center, located at 944 Wallahatchie Road, is open by appointment on Saturdays and Sundays. We encourage you to contact the Arts Council to place a bid! Once you bid, you will be notified if you are outbid, and an Arts Council member will be available to place your new bid if you so choose.

From Coordinator Payne: "Proceeds from the Pike Road Arts Council's Christmas Tree Silent Auction are given directly to Woodland United Methodist Church in Pike Road to support their food bank. This year, in particular, has taken a serious toll on many families and many items are in high demand. Right now, there is a high demand for soap, shampoo, deodorant, personal hygiene products, diapers, cleaning products, paper towels and toilet paper, and non-perishable food items. Last year, we raised $505.00 for the food pantry, and we hope to exceed that amount with this year's entries. We need your help!"

The Pike Road Arts Center is home to the Water House Gallery, studio space, and a variety of events presented by the Pike Road Arts Council, an ENHANCE initiative committee. Learn more here: http://bit.ly/TPR-PRAC
