About the Event

Join us on Thursday, March 21, at the Pike Road Agriculture, Recreation, & Performing Arts Park (6281 Trotman Rd), for a beginners guide to beekeeping with the The Alabama Cooperative Extension System and Town of Pike Road's Agriculture & Stewardship ENHANCE Committee.

Together, we will learn all things pollinators, from who they are to how to attract them. More specifically, we'll learn about Honey Bees and how to take care of them. This workshop is a great crash course for beginners who are interested in taking up beekeeping, or for those who would just like to learn more!

Registration for this workshop is required and costs $5. Please follow this link to claim your spot: https://conta.cc/3uPWkcR

If you are unable to register online or have additional questions, please email Jennifer Grace Arnold at jarnold@pikeroad.us!

The Introduction to Beekeeping Workshop is the March installation of the 2024 Agriculture & Stewardship Seminar Series. This event is presented in partnership by the Alabama Cooperative Extension System and the Town of Pike Road's Ag & Stewardship Club, an ENHANCE initiative committee.
