National Day of Prayer with the P.R.A.Y.E.R. Team

On May 6, students, teachers, staff and the community are invited to join the P.R.A.Y.E.R. Team for a few minutes of prayer for our community and schools in recognition of the National Day of Prayer. The schedule is as follows:

• Pike Road Elementary School, 7:05 - 7:25 AM at the Flag Pole

With PRAYER Team Leaders from Christ Community Church, the Church at Pike Road, St. James Church, & Woodland United Methodist Church (UMC)

• Pike Road Intermediate School, 7 - 7:20 AM at the "Talking Tree" by Flinn Rd

With PRAYER Team Leaders from Century Church, Pike Road Baptist Church, & the Montgomery Chinese Church at Pike Road Baptist

• Pike Road Jr. High & High Schools at the Georgia Washington Campus, 7:20 - 7:40 AM at the Flag Pole by Patriot Field

With PRAYER Team Leaders from Antioch Baptist Church, Murdock Chapel AME Church, St. James Church, & Woodland UMC

The P.R.A.Y.E.R. (Pike Road Area Your Emergency Response) Team is an ENHANCE initiative committee made up of local faith leaders who collaborate to ensure the physical and spiritual needs of Pike Road residents are met in the case of tragedy. The team meets on a regular basis to work on projects such as creating a resource directory and identifying needs in the Pike Road area. Most recently, the PRAYER Team has been active in coordinating a safe response to the needs and challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
