Pictured, Larry Stewart shows off his painting, Harvest Silo, created during the 2020 Pike Road Plein Air Paint Out.
Larry Stewart is a self-taught artist who paints primarily in his studio in Union Springs, Alabama. His work depicts the Old South, it's buildings, it's people and their way of life. Larry's earliest drawings were in junior high school. His depictions of teachers soon earned him notoriety among his classmates but little appreciation or encouragement from the subjects of his drawings. After completing business and law degrees and years of work experience in both fields, Larry renewed his interest in art. He began painting in his mid-50's, and has spent the last decade devoting less time to his law practice and various businesses and more time to his painting. A frequent traveler, he plans trips around scenes he hopes to find and bring to life on canvas. Larry believes he reveals something of himself in his art, much to his own occasional surprise, and often to the enjoyment of those who admire his work.

What an interesting journey Larry Stewart has had. It’s inspiring to hear how he returned to his passion for art later in life and now dedicates himself to capturing the essence of the Old South. The idea of planning trips around potential paintings is a wonderful way to blend travel with creativity.

This post provides a thoughtful look into Barbara Davis’ contributions and background. The clarity in your writing makes the story engaging and easy to follow. I noticed a similar discussion on a review blog about https://southerndry.com/ that shared some perspectives on community initiatives, which added another layer to my understanding. Great work highlighting her impact!
Thoughtful and https://citylineairconditioning.com/ well-written. The narrative flowed nicely and kept me engaged throughout. I came across a similar profile-style article on a citylineairconditioning review blog recently.
A really engaging profile that https://qualityfenceandcustomoutdoors.com/ highlights both character and contribution. The storytelling felt genuine and respectful. It reminded me of a community-focused write-up I read on a qualityfenceandcustomoutdoors-based blog that also celebrated local impact.
