Wendy Ostlund is from Northfield, MN where the colors are many throughout the year with the four seasons. I rekindled my love of oils in the past few years although had taken art classes on and off. Nature inspires me, which makes a natural progression to plein air painting. Instruction from Barbara Davis, Julia Wallace, and Alisa Koch have been so rewarding and priceless.
I really connect with this journey because I also find that rediscovering a passion can be incredibly fulfilling—I admire how Wendy draws inspiration from nature and the changing seasons. It reminds me of how I get inspired in creative ways even while playing something like the EaglerCraft, where I can express ideas and build freely. I think the combination of personal dedication and guidance from experienced instructors truly shows in the growth and passion behind her work.
