March 2 - 4, join artist Julia Wallace at the Pike Road Arts Center (944 Wallahatchie Rd) to simplify your portrait paintings and overcome your fears of making "mistakes!" Julia will share the starting method that will take your paintings to new heights, help you create energetic faces, and develop your individual style. Learn how to simplify references and create a daring design with strong attention to only 3-4 values and a limited palette, one of the keys to success in portrait painting. You will also learn exercises to help build confidence and take your paintings to a new level.
