About the Event
In celebration of the 35th Annual Youth Art Month, the Pike Road Arts Council invites the community to experience the Inaugural Student Art Intensive Exhibit on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Join us to support and celebrate these student artists as they showcase their creativity brought to life.
This exhibit will showcase the work of Pike Road Junior High School’s National Art Honor Society students following their participation in the Pike Road Arts Council’s pilot Art Intensive program.
Through a series of immersive, three-hour sessions led by Arts Council members, students explored foundational and advanced visual art techniques including color theory, light and shadow, composition, perspective, and alla prima painting. Each session built upon the last, guiding students through a creative journey that culminates in this final exhibit.
