About the Event
Celebrate Mother's Day with creativity and hear in this special watercolor workshop led by Kimmie Bothwell at the Pike Road Arts Council. This is a ONE-DAY workshop that will take place on May 3 from 1pm-4pm to make Mother's Day cards.
Participants will learn watercolor basics, brush control, and loose watercolor floral techniques while creating beautiful practice swatches and samples. These techniques will then be used to complete a Mother’s Day themed watercolor card. Each attendee will leave with instructional samples, watercolor swatches, a completed hand-painted card, and an envelope perfect for gifting.
All instruction is provided in a relaxed, encouraging environment. ALL materials will be provided.
No specific attire is required, and no refreshments will be provided. This workshop is ideal for anyone wanting to explore watercolor, build confidence with florals, and create something meaningful by hand.
