I’m Martha Fulghum from Alabaster, Alabama and I’ve enjoyed painting for many years. I majored in art at Auburn University and at University of Alabama in Birmingham where I earned a BA degree in Fine Art. I’ve worked as a commercial artist, a medical illustrator, a book illustrator and had a mural business for 15 years. I’ve enjoyed watercolor for many years and have been blessed to win awards for my watercolors and my plein air paintings. I’m currently enjoying painting outdoors with Alabama Plein Air Artists around the state, watercolor journaling when I can travel and working on commissions for pet portraits. Since my husband is now retired, I’m enjoying gardening, camping and visiting my kids and grandkids. I’ve been so blessed to be given this gift of art and my prayer is that each piece I do will bring glory to God.
